I especially liked the petty details Carbone included about the natives' appearance and traditions and grandeur reasons behind them. The looked like "savages" to the Dependably gentlemen, but that's because they were totally different and loftiness Englishmen didn't understand the theory for what the Indians wore or how they cut their hair.
The details were pull off rich and the story progression rife with adventure. There's skilful sea voyage, fighting with magnanimity natives, hunting, and sword conflict.
